New "OTT" Overlander Torque Calibration  - 6/2022

The New OTT Calibration is an industry first approach to the 3GT. Our development methods go beyond utilization of preexisting baselines to build from. The Calibration was developed on the street, but refined to completion on the Dyno.

Producing double Digit Low and Mid-Range Torque over the competition as well as delivering an equal or better top end, the OTT Calibration is now what all other will measure against.

Our ground-up approach to calibrating uses methods that have been utilized in the tuning industry since its early beginnings. You can rest assured our testing and development methods which are centered around a statistical and analytical review and evaluation process will yield a Safe, Efficient and Tested calibration, ensuring the tune placed on your Tacoma will be 2nd to none. 


OTT is a fully customized approach to specific Tacoma Platforms. Utilizing a much different calibration process than other product offerings, OTT has found a way to ensure accurate and customized shifting from stock to highly customized applications regardless of gear ratio, tire size or vehicle weight. Linear and predictable acceleration and shifting is the result of this approach and will deliver a driving experience like no other. 


But we didn’t stop there. The Engine calibration process, while old-school in its approach, produces power and torque where it’s needed most in the 3GT, that being the low and mid-range. We ensured the top end got some attention to, giving the driver performance when demanded. A final Dyno Tune was then completed giving us an edge over most others in the marketplace. 


The 7.0 Calibration truly provides the driver with an immersive experience, achieving the feeling that the driver and truck are one.

  • Power & Torque - Looking at multiple variables and maps, we have made more and better use of low and mid range torque and power. If your Tacoma Pulls, Hauls or you just want more Torque, the Overlander Calibration is what you have been waiting for. 

  • Shifting - Custom upshift and downshift points along with torque converter locking/unlocking calibrated to the clients needs. Shift points are also matched to place the next upshift gear in the best location for the Torque Curve. 

  • 6MT Truck? We have a custom Calibration for you as well.

  • Remapping of Throttle Curves - Custom throttle curves developed to the drivers requirements.  Multiple options to fit anyone's driving style or truck build profile. 

  • Rework of the VVTI - We map the adjustable cam system for the best combination of low and mid range torque and power, while providing good fuel economy. 

  • Installed 4.88 or 5.29 gears? We can make the truck shift appropriately for those changes.

  • Installed larger Tires? We can adjust the transmission for the increased diameter to help the transmission shift on time and smoother. 

  • Install an AGM Battery into your rig? The stock alternator charge profile is only for the lead acid battery with a max voltage of about 13.8V. We can tell the alternator to provide the recommended Charge Voltage from the battery manufacture to prolong the life of your expensive AGM battery such as 14.4 - 14.7 volts.

  • Tow a Trailer or haul a Camper? We can set the ECT Mode Switch to lockout the double overdrive 6th gear when towing or hauling. Now with the push of a button you are protecting your transmission from always down and up shifting while under load. No more need to manual shift anymore ! Gear Lock Shifting is also available. 

  • ECT Sport Mode  - Available sport mode in ECT for aggressive shifting maps and spicy throttle response!
